'The average salary for a contract intelligence worker is over $200,000..."
Of course this does not include the money they make from selling this information to third parties after it is collected...

3000 hours is a year and a half of full time work (2080 hours/year).
He must be a miracle man... helping the prosecutors and putting in overtime with teaching make believe to the other prisoners...
Sad, but it looks as though the prosecution is lying just as much as Abramoff... unless, of course, they trusted him to keep track of his own hours... in which case they are just plain inept...

Notice that the folks who will pay are the American taxpayers who have been funding this slavery (and everything else involving this war). The only effect it will have on the profiteers is that their profit will be diminished so slightly they won't even take notice...
Our only hope is that those who actually did the deeds will be put in prison... oops, I keep forgetting... "We the Commoners" will pay the price... our beaurocracy will protect the actual people who committed the crime...

"I remind them," he said, "I'll still be chairman next year."
The democrat leadership has already shown that they have no intention of fulfilling the promises they made before the last election.
I learned as a child that you can never trust liars to be honest... and the Democrats have proven themselves to be just as good at lying as the Republicans. Too bad so many voters rely more on wishful thinking than realism. Wishing for something to happen does nothing to better the odds that it WILL happen...
History, after all, IS a good teacher. Perhaps we need to rely on history a little more and our fairy grandmother a little less... IMHO

Apparently, Democracies and freedom only exist at the whim of the powerful United States...
Too bad we are hearing nothing about this amonst congressmen and senators of either parties. goes to show us just how unimportant this war is to anyone in Washington... can't let a war get in the way of vacations and parties.
Underlying this is the realization that most likely, Bush is stalling until McCain wins the election. That way, we can just continue as we have, with the same warmongers controlling the Washington folk and the folks getting rich from all these deaths getting richer from even more deaths...

And if you cannot believe the CIA, which has hidden incursions into almost ALL countries on earth, who still insists it had nothing to do with the overthrow of Iran's democratic government in 1953, which denied Power's capture over Russia, which has attempted assasinations on many leaders of the world, ete. etc..... if you cannot believe this agency... who CAN you believe....

"... this Committee has been refused even this simple request is unacceptable.""
Except that the committee continues to accept it...
Hopefully, voters are fed up enough with the current crop of clowns that they vote for the new guys, not the ones already in office...

Another important person getting important considerations....
He'll most likely spend six months in prison at about the same time someone comes up with a medical diagnosis of six months more to live...
Good thing he isn't lack and poor... He sure wouldn't be on a $10,000 unsecured bond, or relatively speaking, $25 dollar unsecured bond...
We have sure given up on a system of fairness and law... same as a dictatorship with anyone above the $10 million mark totally unaccountable for their actions...
