shooter, you made this claim before, which insinuates that the cap gains tax was responsible for surpluses, and I showed that the Clinton deficit reduction which led to the surpluses started well before the cap gains tax, and the budget balanced in 1999. Here's another chart which shows the increasing revenues started well before the 1997 cap gains tax cut.

Check the first graph and the first two paragraphs.

I had a love/hate thing with Harold Ford's defeat;
hate because a Democrat lost, but love because it was Harold Ford.

I never liked Ford, he always came off as a self interest opportunist, someone who was in politics

For quite some time Olbermann was pretty good toward Hillary, but then something happened, maybe his producers started telling him to tear her up. I stopped watching his show when he started to attack Hillary every night, the way many were doing, especially that cretin Matthews.
